Skip the long wait at urgent care. Our testing is done entirely through our drive-thru. You don’t even need to leave your car (in fact, we’d prefer it if you didn’t to protect our patients and staff). Our pharmacists will come to your car, perform the test and a brief evaluation. We get you tested and on your way in just a few minutes. We will then contact you to discuss the results and possible treatments if applicable.

Please bring your insurance card to your appointment. Cash price for testing/treatment is $150. Uninsured patients may be eligible for free testing through a grant with the Washington State Pharmacy Association. We will bill your medical insurance for the testing and evaluation services as well as your prescription insurance for any treatment. Copays and deductibles may apply. We do not bill insurance for PCR tests but you may try to submit the receipt to your insurance to attempt reimbursement. However, most insurances will not cover the costs of travel related COVID-19 testing. Unfortunately, we are unable to bill Medicare for testing/treatment as patient care services provided by pharmacists are not covered by Medicare. Medicare patients may elect to seek testing/treatment elsewhere or pay the $150 fee. Medicare Advantage plans may cover these services.

All tests are performed in our drive-thru to minimize exposure to staff.  Flu and Covid tests are performed using a nasal swab.  The swab is only inserted an inch or less and is very comfortable. No brain tickling with these tests! Strep throat tests are throat swabs (naturally!). We may also take blood pressure, heart rate, and pulse oximetry as part of the evaluation.

We will call you after your results are ready, usually within 20 minutes (antigen) and 45 minutes (PCR) to discuss the results and possible treatment options. You will also receive a text message and/or email of your results. You may also pickup the relevant results paperwork via our drive-thru window.

Depending on availability our Rapid Antigen test is either the BD Veritor System for Rapid Detection of SARS-CoV-2 and Flu A+B, Abbott BinaxNow COVID-19 Ag Card or the CareStart COVID-19 Rapid Diagnostic Test.  You can read The FDA’s Facts Sheet about these tests by clicking (here, Abbott Binax Now) or (here, CareStart) or (here, BD Veritor). Some, but not all destinations will accept these tests for travel.  Check with your airline/destination.

We utilize the Accula SARS-CoV-2 PCR test.  This is a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test that utilizes polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and lateral flow technologies.  It is also known as a molecular diagnostic test.  It provides results in 30-45 minutes and is a more sensitive test than a Rapid Antigen Test. It is accepted for most all types of travel including the U.S.-Canadian Border.
