Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) Community Pharmacy Residency Program at Schaffner Pharmacy

Schaffner Pharmacy offers an exceptional residency experience tailored for individuals passionate about community pharmacy. We adhere to the highest standards of practice and continually push the boundaries of pharmacist roles within the healthcare team. What sets us apart is our commitment to providing comprehensive clinical services, such as chronic disease management, test-to-treat options, travel consultations, and much more.

Our pharmacist providers are credentialed with all commercial and Medicaid medical insurances in Washington and are regularly billing as healthcare providers for a variety of patient care services. Furthermore, we actively engage with our local community, collaborating with fellow healthcare providers and institutions to improve patients’ access to care.

Our residency program, while structured in accordance with ASHP recommendations, is intentionally unaccredited. This unique feature allows for unparalleled flexibility not commonly found in traditional community-based residencies.
