Whether for business or pleasure Schaffner Pharmacy is here to help you prepare for your next international journey.  Our pharmacist will review potential health risks and will recommended and administer vaccines and/or medications for your specific travel itinerary.  Rest assured and get the most out of your trip knowing you are well informed and prepared.  Fill out our travel form so that we can get an idea of how you will be spending your time abroad.

How Schaffner Pharmacy’s Travel Consultation Works

 

The first step in the process is filling out our Travel Form in which you’ll detail your travel plans, medical history, vaccination history, and any other relevant health information.  Our pharmacists will then review your Travel Form and based on the latest CDC guidelines will put together a recommended travel plan including all relevant medications and vaccinations.  We will then contact you to review the recommendations, cost of treatments and decide on a personalized action plan and schedule your final consult.  During the final consult you will receive your vaccinations and applicable medication, personalized information about your destination and the possible health risks so you can have the best information prior to departure.

During the final consult we will also collect payment for the Travel Consultation ($75) and for any vaccinations and medications provided. Whenever possible we will attempt to bill your insurance for the vaccinations and medications.

Please make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their upright and locked positions, you are now cleared for takeoff!
