Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) Community Pharmacy Residency Program at Schaffner Pharmacy

Schaffner Pharmacy offers an exceptional residency experience tailored for individuals passionate about community pharmacy. We adhere to the highest standards of practice and continually push the boundaries of pharmacist roles within the healthcare team. What sets us apart is our commitment to providing comprehensive clinical services, such as chronic disease management, test-to-treat options, travel consultations, and much more.

Our pharmacist providers are credentialed with all commercial and Medicaid medical insurances in Washington and are regularly billing as healthcare providers for a variety of patient care services. Furthermore, we actively engage with our local community, collaborating with fellow healthcare providers and institutions to improve patients’ access to care.

While in school, she received the Presidential Scholarship from the National Community Pharmacists Association Foundation as well as the Pharmacists Mutual Community Pharmacy Scholarship for her leadership qualities and interest in independent community pharmacy.

She started her pharmacy career as a certified pharmacy technician and has 5+ years of experience working in independent pharmacy settings. Caitlin was drawn to complete her residency at Schaffner Pharmacy due to the diverse range of services provided by the pharmacy, the opportunity to learn from an industry leader, and the small-town community feel. With her passion for community pharmacy and patient care, she looks forward to helping patients improve their health during her residency!
